Financial Achievement Services, Inc. (FAS) was founded in 1977 as a full-service financial services firm. We have a national clientele, which is served from our headquarters in Greenville, Ohio. The professionals at FAS offer financial planning, estate conservation, and investment management services. We strive to be recognized and respected for our planning services and our financial advisor training center that currently serves nineteen investment professionals.


SUMMARY: 

As a Client Support Specialist with FAS, you will be working closely with an advisor as a team. Oftentimes, you will be one of the initial contacts for our clients, as well as a customer service representative throughout their relationship with FAS. This role includes but is not limited to: utilizing current client relationship management software, preparing for and documenting client meetings, managing insurance services for clients, assisting financial advisors in managing relationships with their clients, assisting in investment research, supporting online account access for clients, and continually learning and training on new technology developments and industry regulatory changes.

We are seeking a team player who thrives in a fast-paced and ever-changing environment who possesses multi-tasking skills with the ability to prioritize to best meet our clients’ needs. This position requires a self-managed person who is motivated, goal and results oriented, and is a good listener. Accuracy and confidentiality are a must. Basic understanding of the financial planning process is desired.

We are seeking an individual who could eventually grow into the role of a Financial Paraplanner on the FAS Team. This role will be critical for the future and vision of FAS.

 

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE: 

  • Associates Degree preferred and/or a minimum of 5 years of experience in the workforce.
  • An applicant seeking to grow into the role of Financial Paraplanner would need to have or obtain the following licenses:
    • Series 7
    • Series 66


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (other duties may be assigned):

  • Client appointment administration
    • Retrieve, compile, and verify client information from proprietary software
    • Prepare client meeting agendas
    • Determine, prepare and process required paperwork
    • Create notes and workflow tasks following client appointments
    • Follow-up on business processing
    • Cost basis analysis
  • Compliance
    • Maintain and follow procedures that are compliant with the regulations as outlined in the sales practice manual
  • Insurance (life, disability, and long-term care)
    • Quoting and processing applications
    • Following cases through underwriting process
  • Client Relations
    • Planner and client liaison
    • Client statement assistance
    • Facilitating transfer of assets
    • Online account assistance
    • Assist with investment research
  • Client Relationship Software management
    • Add and maintain client data
  • Scan and index paperwork to imaging systems
  • Answer phone calls
  • Troubleshoot processing
  • Enter online security trades


SKILLS Requirements:

  • Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)
  • Pleasant phone skills
  • Excellent organizational skill
  • Computer/Internet expertise

 

COMPENSATION

  • $40,000 - $45,000
