Matt and Angie Arnold Donate to the Brethren Retirement Community Annual Gala

GREENVILLE, OH- Matt and Angie Arnold of Greenville-based Financial Achievement Services, Inc. (FAS) recently made a donation to the Brethren Retirement Community (BRC). The donation will be used as start-up funds for the Brethren Retirement Community's Annual Gala held September 5, 2014, at 6:00 p.m. at the Romer's Catering banquet facility in Greenville.

"Each year, the Brethren Retirement Community holds a gala to help fund special projects for the residents," commented Angie Arnold, FAS client care director. "These projects can range anywhere from the purchase of new technology to upgrading fitness equipment for the senior fitness area. This year, Brethren Retirement Community plans on seeking support for the Behavior Based Ergonomic Therapy Program created by Wright State University professor Dr. Govind Bharwani and his daughter Meena Bharwani. This award winning, first of its kind in the nation, program will meet the needs for the 50%+ of residents who are challenged daily with dementia or Alzheimer's Disease. All projects improve the quality of care and life for residents in some way.”

The connection between the Arnold family and the Brethren Retirement Community has been strong for over 40 years. Matt’s grandparents and other family members resided at the facility, as well his mother who served as director of nursing for a large part of her career. Matt has been a board of director for the BRC since 2005. “We are fortunate to have a facility with such a broad spectrum of care options in our community," adds Angie Arnold.

The BRC is a Christian, not-for-profit Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC), celebrating over a century of service to older adults of all faiths. Since their beginning in 1902, their mission has been to provide the best care to aging adults. They provide a full range of community-based services on and off campus.
